Vintage Turkish Runner Rug, 4.2 x 9.10 ft Rug, 128 x 302 cm

Hand-woven in the fertile valleys around Kayseri roughly sixty years ago, this runner blends soft orchard shades with bold tribal geometry. Three large cross-shaped medallions—each filled with tiny “ram’s-horn” hooks for power and protection—march down a blush-apricot field. Around them flicker pale lilac diamonds, peach blossoms and obsidian black arrow bands. An outer guard of yellow-orange “S” charms encloses the composition, a continuous wish for safety on every journey. The balance of pastel tones and crisp charcoal outlines feels both ancient and strikingly modern.
