Handwoven in the baking sunshine of Kayseri’s plains 60–70 years ago, this striking runner blends bold geometry with desert hues. A rose-pink field hosts a vertical chain of stepped medallions in charcoal and sand, while protective talisman motifs drift across the ground like wandering footsteps. Rich black guard borders frame the composition, punctuated by tiny floral and arrowhead accents in mustard, olive and blush. Each knot reveals the weaver’s practiced hand and the natural shifts of hand-dyed wool.
