Woven on the open plains of Konya around six decades ago, this runner explodes with colour and geometry. A central chain of large hooked diamonds in ember red and cool sage marches down a soft dove-grey ground, each framed by fiery orange latch hooks that symbolise protection. Smaller inset hexagons echo nomadic tents, while the jagged outer points resemble mountain peaks guarding the steppe. Side fields shimmer with flashes of lemon, blush and charcoal, giving the piece a rhythm that feels both ancient and utterly modern.
