From the highlands of Şarkışla, a village steeped in Anatolian legend, comes this 60–70 year old kilim—woven with purpose, memory, and motion. Its bold red background, reminiscent of sunbaked earth, anchors the two hexagonal medallions like shields of cultural pride.
The inner motifs—diamonds, hooks, and protective amulets—tell stories of fertility, family, and fortitude. The use of soft grays, saffron yellow, deep crimson, and coal black reflect both the restraint and vibrance of central Anatolia’s natural palette.
