This striking vintage kilim originates from the Obruk village of Konya and dates back approximately 60–70 years. Its bold geometry and vibrant palette reflect the fearless aesthetic of Central Anatolian weaving traditions.

The kilim features large ram’s horn motifs, a symbol of power and protection, surrounded by stepped medallions in earthy tones of mustard, saffron, crimson, aubergine, and soft lavender. Each vertical panel is harmoniously divided, symbolizing the duality of balance and motion — a dance of light and color across the woolen canvas.
