This 60–70 year old vintage kilim from Konya combines sacred symbolism with soft pastel tones. Triangular mihrab motifs alternate with protective star-shaped medallions across the field, woven in dusty rose, faded lilac, light sage, and soft apricot hues.

The design reflects a spiritual narrative—each triangle symbolizing a gateway or prayer niche, and each surrounding medallion a woven talisman for protection. The outer border is framed with zigzag forms that suggest continuity and the unbroken rhythm of Anatolian life.
