This radiant vintage rug from Konya, woven approximately 70 years ago, showcases a beautifully balanced geometric composition. The large central diamond medallions, in tones of ochre, terra cotta, and faded saffron, are framed with bold dark motifs representing protection and energy.

The stepped prayer-niche at the top and intricate inner hooks echo a spiritual dialogue, while the surrounding dark brown borders burst with repeated X-shaped fertility symbols—typical of Konya nomadic traditions.
