This striking vintage kilim hails from Afyon, a town nestled in the mountainous heart of Western Anatolia. Woven approximately 60–70 years ago, its design bursts with a fiery rhythm of diamonds and chevrons, symbolizing protection and energy in traditional Anatolian weaving.

Rich terracotta, burnt orange, and ochre tones shift through rows of layered stripes — mimicking the warmth of sunlit stone and baked earth. The hypnotic zigzag pattern, both symmetrical and bold, reflects the strength of the local culture and the artisans who crafted it by hand.
