The central field is dominated by a warm muted red prayer niche, outlined with stepped architectural forms in dark blue. The upper section of the mihrab is decorated with small stylized motifs, while the lower section features three distinctive geometric forms that add balance to the otherwise open central field.

A wide mustard-yellow border filled with repeating floral motifs surrounds the prayer niche. Additional outer borders in red and deep blue introduce small geometric ornaments, creating a layered and highly detailed frame around the simpler central composition.

The palette includes muted red, mustard yellow, deep navy blue, soft blue, ivory, burgundy, and warm earthy tones. The colors have softened naturally over time, giving the rug an authentic antique appearance.
