This beautiful vintage kilim was handwoven around 60–70 years ago in the Milas region of southwestern Turkey — a region known for its deep-rooted weaving traditions and symbolic patterns.

The motifs on this rug tell a story: stylized horn motifs represent power and masculinity, while tree-like shapes symbolize fertility and connection to nature. Each color was naturally dyed using plant-based pigments, aged into a warm, muted harmony over decades.

Its pink, yellow, and earthy tones reflect the Anatolian sunrises over the Aegean mountains, while the fine details remind us of the women who wove their hopes and dreams into every thread.
