This 60–70-year-old kilim comes from the sunlit highlands of Mut–Anamur, nestled between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in southern Turkey.

Woven by nomadic women of the region, the design features rows of bold geometric forms—rams' horns, hook motifs, and V-shaped mountains. The fiery color palette—deep maroon, orange, gold, forest green—evokes summer harvests, citrus groves, and the sunset over mountain ridges.

This kilim was made for everyday use yet crafted with sacred symbolism. It tells a story of resilience, nature, and the cultural soul of Anatolia.
