A striking vintage handmade wool rug from the Malatya–Adıyaman region, featuring a powerful geometric composition and a warm, richly aged Anatolian color palette.

The central field is organized around five large geometric medallions arranged in a horizontal sequence. Each medallion is outlined with stepped ivory details and filled with smaller symbolic geometric forms. Numerous small diamond, hooked, and tribal motifs fill the surrounding field, creating a dense and expressive composition.

The outer border is dominated by vivid orange and ochre tones, framing a field of brick red, burgundy, dark navy, charcoal, muted pink, ivory, and earthy brown. The naturally softened colors and irregular tonal variations give the rug a distinctive antique character.

Approximately 100 years old, this piece reflects the traditional weaving culture of southeastern and eastern Anatolia. Its handmade structure, aged wool surface, subtle irregularities, and time-developed patina make it a highly individual decorative textile.
