This vintage Turkish kilim was handwoven in Sivas, a historic weaving town in Central Anatolia renowned for its bold tribal compositions and harmonious color combinations. Created approximately 60–70 years ago, this piece embodies the vibrant spirit of nomadic artistry.

Design & Craftsmanship
Its striking vertical stripe composition features alternating panels of red, ochre, burnt orange, olive, and charcoal, each filled with diamond and hook motifs symbolizing protection and continuity.
The natural dyes have aged gracefully, creating a beautifully balanced contrast between the saturated and muted tones — a perfect representation of Anatolia’s color mastery.
