Vintage Large Sivas Kilim, 191 x 374 cm / 6.3 x 12.3 ft Kilim

This vintage Turkish kilim was handwoven in Sivas, one of Central Anatolia’s most artistic weaving centers, during the 1970s–80s. With its luminous palette and geometric discipline, it perfectly embodies the spirit of Anatolian craftsmanship — structured yet soulful.

Design & Details
The design features vertical panels of stylized tree and floral motifs, representing fertility and life. Each section is colored distinctly — terracotta, saffron, olive green, ivory, and charcoal — yet united by rhythmic repetition and subtle borders that give the composition balance and depth.

Every hue is created using natural vegetable dyes, producing authentic tones that have aged gracefully over decades. The hand-spun wool surface has a soft touch and a gentle sheen, reflecting the artisan’s precision and patience.
