This vintage Turkish kilim originates from Malatya, a region of Eastern Anatolia renowned for its refined color harmony and symmetrical compositions. Handwoven approximately 60–70 years ago, it reflects the balance and rhythm characteristic of mid-century Anatolian craftsmanship.

Design & Craftsmanship
The field features alternating rows of hexagonal medallions and diamond chains, unified through a stunning palette of saffron, lavender, chestnut, ivory, and taupe. Each motif represents harmony and protection, while the zigzag pattern through the center evokes the flow of Anatolia’s mountain landscapes.
Dyed with natural pigments, its tones have aged beautifully into soft, earthy gradients.
