This vintage Turkish kilim was handwoven in Konya, one of Anatolia’s most celebrated weaving centers. Woven approximately 50–60 years ago, it showcases the timeless geometric artistry of Central Anatolia — where balance, color, and heritage meet.
Design & Craftsmanship
The kilim features a powerful diamond medallion pattern, symbolizing protection and unity, extending rhythmically across a terracotta red field. Shades of gold, ochre, ivory, and soft lilac create a harmonious interplay of light and warmth, typical of mid-20th century Konya craftsmanship.
Made entirely from hand-spun wool and dyed with natural vegetable pigments, this piece radiates authenticity and durability. Its bold geometric symmetry and earthy palette make it a perfect choice for bohemian, rustic, or modern interiors.
