This vintage Turkish kilim was handwoven in Kayseri, one of Anatolia’s most refined weaving centers, known for its vivid color combinations and masterful craftsmanship. Created around the 1960s–70s, this piece carries both the vibrancy of nomadic spirit and the elegance of Central Anatolia’s weaving tradition.

The kilim features a multi-panel diamond composition, symbolizing unity and protection in Anatolian culture. The arrangement of rich tones — crimson, saffron, indigo, ivory, and chestnut brown — reflects the use of natural root dyes that have mellowed beautifully over decades.

Each section of the pattern is framed by intricate borders, emphasizing symmetry and motion. Handwoven entirely from hand-spun wool, it offers durability, softness, and a timeless visual rhythm that brightens any interior.
