Vintage Large Eskişehir-Sivrihisar Kilim, 129 x 355 cm / 4.3 x 11.8 ft Kilim

This vintage Turkish kilim was handwoven in Sivrihisar, a town near Eskişehir in Central Anatolia, around the 1960s–70s. It stands out with its harmonious use of natural dyes and its distinctive hexagonal tribal motifs, representing fertility, unity, and life continuity in Anatolian symbolism.

Design & Details
The kilim features a rhythmic repetition of small hexagon shapes intertwined with tree-like motifs, woven in a palette of olive green, brick red, faded rose, mustard yellow, and ivory. Each color was created using vegetable dyes, now softened with time to a beautifully mellow tone.

Handwoven from pure Anatolian wool, this piece is light yet durable, perfect as a hallway runner, wall hanging, or layered bohemian accent.
