This vintage Turkish kilim was woven around the 1960s–70s in Afyon, a region celebrated for its warm color palettes and unique spiral patterns symbolizing continuity and life.

Design & Symbolism
The kilim features a series of interlocking hexagonal medallions, surrounded by fluid, spiral-like motifs representing eternity and protection — a common theme in Anatolian weaving. Shades of terracotta red, faded cream, and soft amber yellow create a harmonious, time-worn surface with natural depth.

Each thread was hand-spun from local wool and dyed using vegetable-based pigments, giving the kilim its distinctive softness and organic tone variation. Perfect as a statement floor piece or wall hanging, it embodies both craftsmanship and history.
