This striking 60–70 year-old vintage Konya rug features bold tribal motifs arranged in diamond medallions—an iconic symbol in Anatolian weaving that reflects protection, prosperity, and fertility. The pattern is balanced by a powerful color palette of olive green, terracotta, saffron yellow, and dark walnut, accented by cream and black.

Each symbol and color represents the weaver’s story, most likely a village woman expressing her beliefs, traditions, and life journey through yarn. The stepped and hooked borders are unique to Central Anatolian tribal rugs, particularly those from Konya's semi-nomadic weaving culture.
