This authentic vintage Turkish perde kilim, or curtain kilim, was handwoven in Cihanbeyli, Konya, approximately 60 years ago. These traditional Anatolian textiles were originally made for use as curtains, room dividers, and practical decorative coverings inside village homes.
The design features broad horizontal stripes in mustard yellow, deep black, muted red, and soft olive-green tones. Its bold color-block composition creates a simple yet distinctive appearance, while subtle tonal variations reveal the character of natural dyes and traditional hand weaving.
Made entirely from natural wool, this large vintage kilim can be displayed as a dramatic wall hanging, used as a room divider, bed covering, decorative textile, or statement floor piece. Its generous proportions make it especially suitable for spacious rustic, bohemian, eclectic, and contemporary interiors.
The kilim has been professionally cleaned and is ready to use. Minor irregularities, tonal variations, and age-related characteristics are natural features of an authentic handmade vintage textile.
