This 60–70-year-old kilim originates from Akviran, a historical weaving village in the Konya region of Central Anatolia. Its captivating central motif resembles a stylized tree of life or double-headed ram horn, symbolizing power, fertility, and the harmony of opposites—deep themes in nomadic Anatolian traditions.

Woven with naturally dyed wool in hues of burnt orange, sandy beige, ochre, and soft taupe, it reflects the muted warmth of the steppe landscapes. Angular zigzag borders frame the design, a traditional motif believed to offer spiritual protection.
